Reading a manifestation book can help you understand in greater depth how the law of attraction works and change your subconscious mind about abundance.

They not only give you a new perspective on yourself but how to approach life in general.

I’m going to share with you my recommendations for books on manifestation that can change your life.

7 best books on manifestation.

Books have the power to shape your life.  Reading a good book about manifestation can help influence your actions, beliefs, thoughts, and feelings.

However, there are so many books out there about manifestation that a simple search for “manifestation book” will show thousands of results in a search engine.

Though it’s a good problem to have, lots of choices mean it can be hard to pick the right book for your needs.  This is why I’m sharing my shortlist of the best books on manifestation and the law of attraction.

This list of manifestation books can help you attract what is yours and lead you down the path to creating the life of your dreams and living to your full potential.

1. You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay.

The first book I read about manifestation was “YOU CAN HEAL YOUR LIFE“, from the queen of manifesting herself, Louise Hay.  Ms. Hay grew up around the time of the Great Depression and suffered many things in her life before she learned about the power of manifestation.

Part of the book is about on her own experience with healing her cancer by changing her thoughts and beliefs about herself as well as manifesting what she wanted in life through positive thinking.

She was able to manifest many other great things in her life which include a publishing house, a successful workshop on healing your life, and publishing many books on self-help.

“You Can Heal You Life” is a great book if you’re a beginner to manifestation.  Louise teaches about the law of attraction in her book in a way that is gentle and nurturing.

There are exercises and affirmations at the beginning of each chapter.  Throughout the book, there are step-by-step instructions on how to release old limiting beliefs, how to forgive, and how to attract and manifest what you want in your life.

I’ve read this book from cover to cover a handful of times and I have a different perspective on the exercises each time.  They’ve helped me through difficult times in my life as well as learn the art of manifesting and the basic principles about the laws of attraction.

Although there are different publications according to the year, all versions of the book contain the same content on manifesting taught by Louise Hay (I purchased the one that was published in 1999, as you can see in my picture gallery below).

2. The Writings of Florence Scovel Shinn.

THE WRITINGS OF FLORENCE SCOVEL SHINN” is actually a collection of 4 books by Florence Scovel Shinn that focus on manifestation. They are:

  • The Game of Life
  • Your Word is Your Wand
  • The Power of the Spoken Word
  • The Secret Door to Success

I got this book for myself because I needed help creating affirmations that I could resonate with and would enable me to align my values and beliefs with my ideal life.

These books were written during the early half of the twentieth century, so the language might seem a bit outdated for the modern reader.  However, the messages throughout the book are timeless and can be applied to modern-day life.

I particularly enjoyed the affirmations section on health because I was working on nurturing myself back to health at the time.  There are also affirmations for manifesting things such as prosperity, money, guidance, and happiness.

This collection of books contains stories about Shinn’s experiences with clients who wanted to manifest their own life’s desires.  The book goes into detail on the how-tos of manifesting and affirmations you can use for yourself to manifest your own desires.

Check out the photo gallery down below for a peek at some of the pages inside the books.

3. The Success Principles by Jack Canfield.

Jack Canfield is the author of “THE SUCCESS PRINCIPLES“, which is a book about manifestation and is a definitive guide on how to be successful with anything in your life.

He’s also the author of the wildly successful book, “Chicken Soup for the Soul”, which sparked a series of books under the same title with different themes.

Canfield gives a detailed roadmap in the book on how to manifest anything you want in your life and sprinkles in stories and anecdotes of successful and famous people who have used the manifestation principles.

After reading “The Success Principles”, I noticed synchronicities that were happening in my own life, like receiving a text message out of the blue from someone I was thinking about.  Or a sweater I was eyeing that went on sale and I was able to purchase it.

I almost couldn’t believe the principles that Canfield describes in his book because some of them sounded too good to be true.

“The Success Principles” encourages you to drop your limiting beliefs about what’s possible in life and imagine new possibilities for yourself.

You’ll see in the picture gallery below, a sample of the book cover and some of the pages inside:

4. The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.

I first heard about “THE SECRET” when I saw a trailer about it on Netflix and then watched the entire movie.  I couldn’t believe what I just watched and decided to read the book, which is very similar but goes into more detail about manifestation and the laws of attraction.

This is one of the best books on manifestation because the principles are easy to understand and apply.  The catch is, you have to believe them in order to use them.

This isn’t always easy because oftentimes we think that in order to get what we want, there has to be some sort of struggle, tradeoff, or sacrifice.

It seems too simple to just ask, believe, and be ready to receive if you want to manifest your wishes, dreams, and desires.  When you read this book, you have to come at it with an open mind.

Then you need to drop your limiting beliefs and overcome fears you have about manifestation what you want if you want to apply what you learn about manifesting in your own life.

There are no guarantees in life, but if you want a beginner’s guide to manifesting, along with stories, quotes, and anecdotes, then this book is for you.

You can get a sneak peak at the book with some sample pages in the gallery down below:

5. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

THINK AND GROW RICH” is a book about manifestation that was first published in 1937.  Like the other books I mentioned about manifesting, the ideas in this book seem too good to be true.

This is because of the beliefs we were taught as a society about money, prosperity, and abundance.  We learned about money, and how to handle it, from our parents, friends, and our inner circle.

Because this book was written during the early half of the twentieth century, some of the writing will look outdated and might even come off as offensive to the modern-day reader.

If you keep in mind that this book was published around The Great Depression, then the ideas and principles of manifestation that are mentioned throughout the book will educate and inspire you.

Though the book was updated several times since it was published, the content remains largely the same.

Here’s a preview of the pages in the book in the picture gallery below:

6. It Works by R.H. Jarrett.

IT WORKS” is a very short book about manifestation that can be read easily in one sitting.  Though it was first published back in 1926, the theory and ideas about manifestation are still relevant can be used in modern times.

The book outlines the basic concepts of manifestation and gives you a step-by-step guide that is easy to read and follow.

I love its no-nonsense style, which is perfect if you want to quickly learn about and create a plan to manifest your dreams and desires that requires minimal effort and time.

If you’re busy and you need something you could read in one afternoon sitting, this book is perfect.

Take a look at the sample pages I have below:

“When your primary function is to be happy, then whatever comes to you is irrelevant.  Happiness is your true manifestation.” – Gabrielle Bernstein

7.  Feeling is the Secret by Neville Goddard.

FEELING IS THE SECRET” is another very short and concise book on manifestation that you can read in one sitting while curled up on your favorite chair.

The book was first published back in 1944, so the language might seem outdated but the underlying message still has appeal and you can experiment with its principles on manifestation in the comfort of your own home.

It’s just a handful of chapters long and gets to the point on how to manifest your dreams and desires, step-by-step.  Take a look at the sample pages below:

The book is a how-to guide on manifesting your desires through prayers, feelings, and faith.  It states that everything is tied to consciousness and that we can bring into fruition what we want if we are willing to believe we can have it.

“Ask for what you want and be prepared to get it.” – Maya Angelou

Closing thoughts on manifestation.

These are my 7 recommendations on books about manifestation that can change your life.  These books can help you expand your mind, change your thoughts, and reform your beliefs about your own life so that you can live in a way that meets your highest potential.

If you think about the power of your mind and harness the power of your thoughts, the things you manifest in your life can be infinite, such as wealth, love, health, and prosperity.

Everyone’s life is shaped by the books they read.  I hope that this list of the best books on manifestation have given you an idea of what to read the next time you want to learn more about manifestation.
